Position Summary
Join a fast-paced, high-growth company driving innovation in compliance and technology. We are seeking a strategic, adaptive professional with deep expertise in AML, KYC, Sanctions, and Transaction Monitoring. Knowledge of SQL, Python, Java, C++, and Tableau will be preferred (not required).
In this role, you will lead complex compliance initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver engagements that meet the highest standards of execution and client satisfaction. You will coordinate teams, manage budgets, and keep projects on track while acting as go to liaison for both client and internal leadership. You are expected to have a clear understanding of the client contract and associated Statements of Work (SOWs), including estimated effort and deliverables. This ensures transparency between the client and internal teams regarding project scope, preventing out-of-contract work or unproductive efforts from either client or interna team that could result in margin dilution.
Project Delivery & Financial Management
- Manage concurrent compliance projects at a time, ensuring scope, timeline, and deliverables are met.
- Own project P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability tracking.
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
Client Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide structured status reporting and executive-level updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support governance processes with dashboards, presentations, and financial summaries.
- Maintain strong client relationships through transparency, responsiveness, and consistent delivery.
Team Leadership & Resource Allocation
- Oversee Consultants, Senior Associates, and Associates assigned to projects.
- Balance resource allocation across projects, ensuring utilization and efficiency goals are met.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Compliance Delivery Context
- Ensure projects align with AML, sanctions, KYC, and broader compliance standards.
- Partner with consulting leads to integrate subject-matter expertise into project delivery.
- Uphold the company’s quality standards in all client deliverables.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Standardize delivery methods, templates, and reporting frameworks across projects.
- Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at enhancing delivery discipline and client satisfaction.
- Monitor emerging compliance trends and incorporate best practices into project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA, PMP, or CAMS a plus).
- 5 – 8 years of project/program management experience, preferably in compliance consulting or financial services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with responsibility for financial outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with experience reporting to executives and clients.
- Skilled in project management methodologies, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Physical Factors and Working Conditions
- This role primarily involves desk-based work in a moderately quiet office environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand or move within the office as needed.
- Work from our office four days a week or follow the client’s onsite schedule, which may require up to five days per week.
- Ability to visually focus on a computer screen for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion during travel, as needed.
